- Wayne and Valerie Heath: “Two neighbors share their love and respect for the environment with an eco-friendly rain garden showcasing some of MN finest species.”
- Tom and Patti Nelson: “A 1yr old rain garden is shared by neighbors. Stroll around to the lovely perennial gardens in back where a comfortable deck overlooks the gardens.”
- Ralph Hogencamp & Sandy McDonald: “Take a calming stroll through this shady garden featuring two ponds, waterfalls and stream, and groupings of hostas.”
- Joyce and Don Piper: “Our garden is an extension of nature. We plant what will do well with our soil conditions and wildlife that visit our yard. Many plants are gifts of neighbors and friends who know I can't bear to see a good plant thrown away. My kitchen herb garden adds interest to a simple meal which is best when shared with friends.”
- Lynne Thornsjo: “Renovated gravel pit focusing on perennials; outside fence area has been developed to include plants/shrubs which are deer resistant; inside fence area is used for tulips, roses, and other plants enjoyed by the deer! Much of the garden area is a vertical garden situation. Over 30+ varieties of peonies and iris and over 50 varieties of hosta.”
- Steve Horan: “Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, this garden welcomes you with mixed bulbs & hostas. A flagstone walk leads into the back gardens which feature a wonderful collection of daylilies and ornamental grasses anchored by a naturalistic water feature.”
- Kris & Tom Tott: “Butterflies, hummingbirds and birds await you at this nationally certified Monarch Way-station and Wildlife Federation Habitat site. Ornamental grasses, native plants, perennials and annuals compliment the dry river bed created to correct a drainage problem at the rear of the property. Don’t miss the unique “potting shed” which adds to the overall charm of this garden.”
- Kenn & Renie Herbert: “Visit this relaxing poolside retreat with many perennials and over 20 varieties of hostas, shrubs and annuals, pond and waterfall.”
- Karen & Barry Johnson: “Wander along the paths of the sunny front and side yard, to the sun and shade garden rooms of the terraced rear yard where you descend to the “oriental” garden and pond at the bottom. The rear yard borrows views from the adjacent city park and pond. The gardens feature sculpture scattered throughout for additional interest.”
- Phil & Ginny Kendell: “This garden includes a European style patio with raised bed walled gardens and fountains, a large back deck and cozy front porch. Plantings include perennials, fruit trees and bushes, and a vegetable garden.”
