Program Volunteers
CRIMINAL JUSTICE CLASS VOLUNTEERS
Assist the Community Justice Coordinator with various projects, based on tasks to be done and the student’s interest. Complete 60 hours in a three month period.
Awareness Class Co-Facilitator
Observe, co-lead then become the instructor of a YSB Awareness Class using the YSB curriculum and multimedia tools. Background check required. (6+ hrs of training, average 3-6 hrs/mo)
Work Crew Supervisor
Co-supervise and work with a group of youth to pick up trash, paint public facilities and perform other service projects. Teach good work habits and connect service to “giving back to the community.” Background check required. (1 hr orientation, average 6 hrs/mo)
